What we store

The basics

On a first visit, a banner asks about optional storage. Nothing optional is requested from any outside server until you say yes. The answer is kept in your own browser, and the banner returns after about six months.

What is actually used

Your choice

lc_prefs in your browser’s local storage. Essential: it remembers what was picked. Lasts about six months, or until the browser is cleared.

Visit statistics

Anonymous page-view counts (Google Analytics 4). Optional: only set if opted in and the tool is switched on.

Advertising measurement

A tag that lets the network that sent a visitor here count the visit. Optional: only set if opted in and the tag is switched on. Duration is set by that provider.

Fonts are served by Bunny Fonts, a European font service that sets no cookies. If a page links elsewhere, that site may set its own.

Changing the choice

Use Storage choices at any time to accept, decline or pick individual items. Declining, or changing your mind later, never blocks reading the site. Stored items can also be cleared from your own browser settings.
